Tumescent Tummy Tuck
27 year old female had liposuction by another surgeon 8 months before and was unhappy with remaining loose skin, drooping tissues, and stretched muscles. She also did not like her off center belly button. Patient had 2 pregnancies years before and had a stable weight for the past 2 years. Liposuction can help with localized fat. Liposuction does not tighten loose skin. Liposuction does remove fat. Just how much the skin will shrink can vary. Combine loose skin before liposuction with failure of the skin to shrink for the lost fat mass can mean worse loose skin.

Her umbilicus (belly button) was also off center. Tummy tuck can recenter the belly button as part of the design of the surgery.
