Tumescent Tummy Tuck after Liposuction
27 year old female had liposuction by another surgeon 8 months before and was unhappy with remaining loose skin, drooping tissues, and stretched muscles. She also did not like her off center belly button. Patient had 2 pregnancies years before and had a stable weight for the past 2 years. Liposuction can help with localized fat. Liposuction does not tighten loose skin. Liposuction does remove fat. Just how much the skin will shrink can vary. Combine loose skin before liposuction with failure of the skin to shrink for the lost fat mass can mean worse loose skin.
Height 5' 6" Weight 158 pounds
Location Surgery: Hospital Operating Room
Anesthesia: General with Tumescent Technique

- High Lateral Tension Technique
- Tightening of the rectus muscles of the abdomen
- Fascia Sculpture

- Liposuction contouring of the abdominal fat transition zone

Liposuction treats localized fat. Lax drooping skin and muscles are not treated with liposuction. Tummy tuck abdominoplasty can manage the loose skin, lax muscles, and offset belly button.
