Severe eyelid bags - festoonsThis patient did not like how tired and sad she looked with her sagging tissues about the eyes. As facial skin sags about the face and eyelids, severe bags may form. Blepharoplasty eyelid surgery can lift sagging tissues into more youthful proportions. It can be part of a more general facial rejuvenation sculpture or done alone. As in this case, compromise surgery can limit the degree of the operation and not address other facial aging features. Sculpture: Lower lid blepharoplasty extending to cheek, upper lid blepharoplasty 50 year old female Surgery location: Hospital Operating Room Anesthesia: Local
Notice before surgery, the skin hangs down over the upper eyelids resting on the eyelashes and the under eye bags. After surgery the upper eyelid fold is again visible and the lower lid tone is more natural. The eyes no longer look tired or sad.
With the eyelids gently closed, there is still loose skin of the upper lids before blepharoplasty surgery.
Eyelid bags can be improved with blepharoplasty eyelid sculpture.
