Dr. Bermant and his staff fits each of his male patients with a compression vest to be worn after chest contouring surgery. For our patients safety, we prefer to individually fit this compression vest in our office.This garment helps minimize:

Stage One Male Compression Garment - This is one of the many details Dr. Bermant and his staff employ to improve the comfort of our patients. The garment minimizes discomfort by lessening chest tissue movement. Gentle pressure limits swelling and bruising. Too much pressure can be dangerous for the survival of flaps and operated tissues. The vest is adjustable but there are different sizes. Every surgical sculpture is different and we pick the best garment for the specific surgery for each of our patients. We give detailed instructions for the use of the garment which can vary for each operation.
