Pictures of Gland Excised for Teenage Gynecomastia
Patient was unhappy with his very large breasts. He has suffered severe teasing and has been embarrassed to perform activities that might expose his chest. The problem started at about the age of 10. Breast size has stabilized for more than a year. The patient has been evaluated by an endocrinologist who referred the patient for Dr. Bermant's surgical sculpture.

Anesthesia: Tumescent Local with Sedation
Method: Dynamic technique, excision mass, liposuction contouring (400 cc of fat was removed from each breast), and deep tissue sculpture. No skin reduction was performed. 4.5 x 5.5 x 1.5 cm mass
were removed through a 2 cm incision at the areola chest skin interface on each breast.
