Gynecomastia Breast Reduction in a Muscular Man
Patient was unhappy with protruding breast masses that had gotten worse with weight lifting and body building. As his muscles got bigger, the deformity by the nipple areola became more noticeable. The gynecomastia interfered with the masculine look he was trying to achieve.
35 year old male
5 feet 7 inches tall weighing 170 pounds
Location Surgery: Bermant Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery Center (Office Operating Room)
Anesthesia: Tumescent Local with Sedation
Method: Dynamic technique, excision mass, liposuction contouring, and deep tissue sculpture

The pectoral and chest muscles are relaxed in the photographs above and tensed below. The gynecomastia although visible when the pectoral muscles are relaxed, becomes much more visible when the muscles are tightened. After surgery, the offending glandular masses are gone.

With the pectoral muscles stretched with the arms extended, the gynecomastia is not very visible from the front.
