Technique

• Open rhinoplasty
• Sculpture to even dorsum
• Lifting collapsed upper cartilage and spreader graft
• Tip cartilage sculpture and graft
• Submucous resection and septoplasty

Look at the nasal bridge. The right side has a depression on the patient's right side from the trauma. After surgery, this deformity has been balanced. 6 days after surgery, is very early as results will evolve in time. However, note how little swelling is present with Dr. Bermant's techniques.

The broken lower cartilage resulted in a pointed nasal tip on one side. The cartilage repair resulted in a much smoother shape.

The photograph on the left has the arrow pointing to the depression of the bridge of the nose.

On the right the arrow points to the broken tip cartilage.

From below the columellar incision is visible just 6 days after surgery when Dr. Bermant removed the sutures in the office. This will heal and improve in time.
